Registration represents a commitment through the end of the 36-week season. Tuition is based on an annual [Sept-June] fee, which is billed from June through May. Adjustments may be made due to exceptional circumstances. First and last month payments, as well as registration fee are due prior to the first class.

Returning students will be permitted to register in the level recommended by their teacher[s] in the previous year-end evaluation. New students will be placed according to age and previous dance experience. Teachers will observe and evaluate students’ performance and if necessary recommend to the Director any changes in class level. Any class with a registration less than six students may be canceled.

Tuition
Tuition is based on an annual [Sept-June], which is billed from June through May. Adjustments may be made due to exceptional circumstances. Tuition is not refunded for classes not taken; this includes student absences and classes canceled due to inclement weather (call studio and listen to recording for closing information or check posting on our website). Student absences may be made up at the student’s convenience anytime during the term. Ask teachers for appropriate make-up classes. Should a family experience hardship, contact the Director for special tuition arrangements.

Cash, check, money order, Visa or Mastercard are accepted. Checks made payable to Positions Dance Studio, Inc. Payment can be left with receptionist or mailed to P.O. Box 612, Babylon, NY 11702-0612. For your convenience, credit cards can be automatically debited for monthly tuition on the 1st of each month. Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. Any payment made after the last day of that month will be charged a non-refundable service fee. Checks returned for insufficient funds will be assessed a service fee. Statements are not mailed monthly. Late bills only are mailed to those accounts with a prior month’s tuition still outstanding.
General Conduct Guidelines
There is absolutely NO SMOKING anywhere in the studio. Punctuality is appreciated; most classes are based on 50-minute sessions with a 10-minute passing time. Parents must be in the waiting area at the conclusion of class to receive their children [we are not responsible for students remaining after class]. Parents are responsible for the care and control of other siblings in the waiting room.

Good conduct is expected of all our students in the dance room, waiting room and in general in order for all the children to receive quality dance education. Students or parents who are continuously disruptive will be asked to leave.
