Recital Info

Location
The recital will be performed on Tuesday, June 24th, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. The location is St. John the Baptist High School, 1170 Montauk Highway, West Islip (next to Good Samaritan Hospital). There is one performance only. The auditorium is air conditioned with approximately 1,280 seats.

Recital Updates
As the season progresses, additional recital information or updates will be posted on the bulletin boards at both the Babylon and West Babylon studios, as well as on our website. Please keep abreast of this important information. It is our goal for the recital experience to be organized and exciting for all involved. It is a team effort: students, parents, teachers and the director are key players in the success of the show.

Home Study
To ensure that the students feel confident about their performance, we ask parents and guardians to encourage them to rehearse their recital choreography on a regular basis. A copy of your child’s dance music may be available through your child’s teacher for a nominal fee.

Ticket request letters with instructions on the ticket purchasing process will be mailed approximately April 18th to accounts that are current through April. Your ticket request and payment must be returned via mail. You cannot purchase tickets at the studios! For the first week, the number of tickets that can be purchased is not limited. Depending upon sales, tickets might be restricted thereafter. All-inclusive plans, as well as automatic payment plans also follow the instructions as detailed in the ticket letter.

Full costume payment must be received by December 1st. All accounts that have not made their costume payment by December 1st will be charged a $10.00 per costume late charge. Once costumes arrive, they will be tried on, then stored by Positions for distribution approximately 2 weeks prior to the recital.
